My husband and I just joined the congregation and found them very welcoming - consciously so! Not only were we greeted by the rector, but also by many others in our row of seats! We were invited to join ministries and felt like we were really wanted in the congregation. Coffee hour was a bit awkward, but that could be just as much our personalities as those of the congregation - but many people greeted us and said a few words.

Though every places has its quirks, St. David's seems to be going out of its way to become a welcoming, kind, and inviting places for visitors and newcomers.
