Dog blogging

This is the welcome I received when I arrived at my brother's house around noon today. The red one is Trinka, the b&t is Greta.

Grass!

When Tractor Supply sold me grass seed that was supposed to be quick germinating, they sold the right stuff. As of Tuesday this was very dry, brown dirt and whatever seeds the mourning doves hadn't eaten. We had a lovely all day rain Wednesday and suddenly there were green sprouts yesterday afternoon. We had more rain last night and suddenly I have grass. Wow. It isn't quite ready to mow but it looks wonderful to me.

Rainy day cats

And then the rain stopped for awhile.
So the little one came to eat.

If only

falling out of love were as easy as falling in love!!!

Republicans

in Congress would be better off if they just shut up. The longer they talk, the more they repeat their unbelievable prejudices and lies, the less respect I have for anyone who claims to be either Republican or conservative. I suppose they should be admired for their ability to stir up the fearful and stupids among us. At that they are very effective. Ugh.

Can't go home

Oh, no!

The new tiny cat made Dudie's acquaintance. S/he doesn't look like a kitten. Scared but comes when I call it, tho to the food not to me, so belongs/ed to someone. Or maybe it is just really hungry. Ate a whole can of catfood and some dry. The girls watched from the cathouse roof until I pointed the camera at them. PuddyTat hates the camera and runs. I just hope the little one isn't a fertile female! And that s/he figures out where s/he lives and goes home with the owners.

Daylily lust

Someday I will dig up one of these for my fence. I've been saying that for years. They are at church.
