Little One is getting to be a big boy. He also seems healthy now with fewer fleas for some reason. He seems to have a very feminine head for a boy cat.
This is the Curves I go to. Not many of us there yesterday when I was. The megaphones along the ceiling on the left represent women who have attended more than 400 sessions. I have one of them. A couple of ladies are beyond 2000, I believe. The wall on the right has news about members.
God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, The good fortune to run into the ones that I do, And the eyesight to tell the difference.
I walked up to get the mail and took some photos along the way.
Our road looking toward town.
My neighbors' house. Santa is still on the porch. The pole leaning against the swing blew down in a windstorm a week or so ago. It used to hold a flag.
A dock belonging to the people who were going to build on this lot but bought a house up the road. This lot is now for sale again. Yea.
Snow on lilacs.
Looking up my driveway to the big house.
This was taken earlier. The snow is now to the top of each tread.
So far the temporary cathouse cover is holding up. Praying it continues to do so. Glad it is channeled plastic rather than the usual shower curtain stuff.
Little One visits Dudie every day. Here he watches the rest of the world from the cathouse roof. He and PuddyTat are the only cats I see out and about. She leaves if anything unusual happens. She is still very antsy from when I took Little One to the vet.
It was a little slippery this morning but the roads were navigable with care. The snow wasn't blowing as much as it was New Years Day. 21 others made it to church which surprised and pleased us. The photo, by the way, is a color photo. Certain Christianists would love the whole world to be black and white all the time. I'm happy it isn't even tho I love snow more now that I'm retired.
For Margaret and Joel who are true disciples ministering to the people on the poorest Native American reservation in the US. And especially for Margaret who has more funerals in a month than most priests have in several years. And thanks for allowing the children to call her Grandma. She is the best possible person/priest in her position. For Peg and Jim. For all those who believe that guns can solve our problems. For our dysfunctional Congress. For Christ Church Meadville. For R and D especially for R. For me. For Ward. For Bro John. For Jim, especially. For those in the church who are distressed. For A as she deals with dysfunction. For Ginny. For Amelia. For Julie Anne. For Danny. For Amy. For J's mom. For Art and Mary. For rain in California. For Jeri. For Caleb and those who research RA. For J and D. For Tim and Ruth. For Ted. For VC and N. For Lee. For S and P.

But if we must, then accept it and force the schismatics to make uncomfortable decisions
