PseudoPiskie said...: Some people are upset with the stone facing he put on the clapboard house. The old house is from 1802, he said. I was told 1807. I'm curious to see the woodwork. It was all handcarved. Every room was different and the fireplaces were gorgeous. He said he refinished every bit of it. I also heard that he replaced the tin ceilings. I'll go visit one of these days. It's only a 5 minute or so walk up the road.
