There are still two boys - Jellico and LittleOne. Both are jittery but LittleOne allowed me to scritch him thru the kitchen window last night for the first time in months. I have no idea what spooked him. Jellico will intrude when I'm petting the others on the cathouse roof but he runs away when I appear otherwise. He has always been weird. I need fewer not more cats. I would be perfectly happy to dismantle the structure and not have to find someone to feed them when I go away. But I'd miss them.
Yes, both are around again. LittleOne is ok with me in the window but not outside. Jellico is just extremely skittish. I rarely see him. He lives in the garage. I assume he eats from the dish on the bottom of the cathouse.
For Margaret and Joel who are true disciples ministering to the people on the poorest Native American reservation in the US. And especially for Margaret who has more funerals in a month than most priests have in several years. And thanks for allowing the children to call her Grandma. She is the best possible person/priest in her position. For Peg and Jim. For all those who believe that guns can solve our problems. For our dysfunctional Congress. For Christ Church Meadville. For R and D especially for R. For me. For Ward. For Bro John. For Jim, especially. For those in the church who are distressed. For A as she deals with dysfunction. For Ginny. For Amelia. For Julie Anne. For Danny. For Amy. For J's mom. For Art and Mary. For rain in California. For Jeri. For Caleb and those who research RA. For J and D. For Tim and Ruth. For Ted. For VC and N. For Lee. For S and P.

Shel, I can't believe there are only two now. I rejoice in the lives that we shared with you, and I look forward to meeting them all one day.

Good story, Shell. Thanks for posting. And I don't think of you as the crazy cat lady... just a kind soul.
I am glad I know you.
Read the story. It's nice to know the history behind all these cats. You are so wonderful to care for those feral little ones.
I'm a dog person too. Although cats seem to like me.
Like Sharecropper, I can't believe there are only two plus the two boys. Down to four :)
Your little clan is wonderful, but I admit I'm sad to see how many have disappeared. Have either LittleOne or Jellico appeared?
