Two cherished gifts

with all the hymns marked by the ribbons and ready for Easter Vigil at 6 am on Easter Sunday at St. Clements in Greenville, PA.

The cross is from a friend I see at Curves. The BCP/Hymnal is from my New Bern, NC friends.

In case you might be concerned, I will have plenty of time to get to Christ Church in Meadville for the Easter celebration there.

Agape meal 2009

Redecorated despite the mud

Prayer request

Our friend Sophia has some mighty decisions to make. From her perspective apparently, none of the choices seems to be workable or desirable or perhaps even possible. Or perhaps she simply is unable to decide for whatever reasons.

From my perspective, a choice needs to be made sooner rather than later and the consequences dealt with as they arise.

Please pray for her life to unfold in a way which leads her to understand what she needs to do and gives her courage to do it as soon as possible.

MA, CT, IA, VT...

And in Vermont, the legislature decided that all people are equal despite religionists and the prejudiced who believe otherwise. The courts didn't have to tell the Vermonters about the Constitution. Their governor doesn't support the equality of all but majority of the legislators do.

The District of Columbia voted to recognize all marriages. Will Congress nullify that? I wouldn't be surprised. The "Christians" will probably once again prove their lack of understanding of their precious Gospels and throw that tolerance out.

When will Pennsylvanians abandon the hatred and fear their religions spread and vote to allow marriage between two people who love each other? I'm not holding my breath.

Prayers requested

In Binghamton of all places, I have a Wonderful Friend who is having a tough time. Her sister-in-law died recently and her husband learned he has a very aggressive form of prostate cancer. Please pray for WF and WFH. Godde will know whom you mean.
