How to embarrass a brother

He was introduced in Dallas for his keynote address at an Angel conference as the true rock star angel. Angels fund business startups. He blows sax but not guitar. This photoshop is hilarious. And they included a bow tie which he always wears.

Family visiting

My nephew is "home" from San Francisco. Well, he is where his parents are living. Not sure where he calls "home". Pittsburgh? Wellesley? Elsewhere he has lived? Probably San Francisco now. They visited his sister (photo) so I did too. There are photos of the World's Cutest grandniece and grandnephew along with the rest of the clan here. Sad that his wife couldn't come too.

Here he is in a poster for a series of performances at The Dark Room in San Francisco this September. If you are in the neighborhood, attend and tell him you know me. He's a really good guy.

Visiting family

The Cleveland contingent of the family is moving across town to find better schools and some playmates for the kiddos. The Prius can carry lotsa boxes and stuff so I visited. No photos of the new digs but the house and quiet neighborhood are very different from Cedar Road. These folks are my grandnephew and grandniece with their father.
A neighbor brought popsicle things for the kids while we were there. There are plenty of other young folks in the neighborhood. That will be a huge change.

Tuesday cat blogging

Sunday the box held a two headed cat.
This morning, PuddyTat reclaimed her box. I don't know if she will stay. It is the first time she has been on the cathouse roof in a couple of months. Her box below is probably pretty filthy. I can't get to it without tearing the cover apart. I need to check into that tho.
Meanwhile this sign caught my eye Sunday. Had to post it for my family - long time dachsy people.

Isn't she a cutie!
He's pretty handsome too, here stealing a bit of icing.
Cake and ice cream. Yum!

Prayer request

Prayers for my friend Dort, please. You may remember that I visited her a couple of weeks ago after her move to North Carolina. She has had a kidney problem for which a stent was inserted. She seems to be doing well according to her grandniece for whom I am most grateful. At 94 she's a real fighter, one strong woman. She needs to get back to her iMac.

Things

Adam seems to be improving and is off the oxygen bed. Still praying. And for my sil who will drive on Tuesday and Wednesday from Ohio to New York state to be with him. Weather could be nasty.

Meanwhile I'm sick. Wonder if it might been the organic flavored coffee at coffee hour that upset my tummy mightily. A bit better now but sinuses are mimicking Niagara Falls. Ugh.

Thanks for all the support from my blog buddies. Those Brits need to get a life. We are a community.

The latest on Adam

Continuing from here:

"Today started out a little rocky but he is stable now. He had an infection from his abdomen but they found no internal injury. It is common to have higher white count after an accident. His oxygen was very low and so they put him on a board that rotates. When he lies on his back mucous fills up. They turn him all the way from back to front slowly and then back on the back. His oxygen levels came up. They are going to do this for 3 days. So, he is still critical but stable again."

Thanks for your continuing prayers.

The world's cutest grandniece and grandnephew

Christmas 2008
She was happy here for quite awhile on Christmas morning. She is almost 5 months old.

Here she is dressed for dinner.

And not quite ready for bed. She is a happy kiddo.

At 2 he has finally figured out presents and unwrapping. Nobody's stuff was safe.

And he dressed for dinner.

But this was the usual view all day.
