My front yard is full of violets. I love violets. I like dandelions too. They provide a wonderful contrast. If you click on the photo, you can see the violets better.

Our yard is full of all manner of dandelions, violets, some kind of spiky purple flower, and beaucoup de weeds. We think its beautiful, but I suppose some neighbors think otherwise. We have three visiting mallards. During the weekend, a rose-breasted grosbeak came to one of our feeders.
