The flowers are in place. The choir is rehearsed. All is ready and waiting. Tonight hope enters the world once again. Tonight unconditional love comes as a newborn child. For some, worship will present memories both happy and hurtful. May the love of Jesus fill the voids left by those who have departed our world this year. Hugs and blessings to all!

To you, too. I won't be able to go to church, but I will watch the Washington Cathedral service tomorrow morning.
It's lovely! You say this so well. Merry Christmas to you!
Merry Christmas to you and all your feline residents!
American flag.
The flags irritate me but there is nothing I can do about it.
Well, they do balance out the whole scene. I just thing you'd be better off with a gay pride flag and maybe another one covered in sequins. That's just me, though.
Loved your marriage post, btw.
The pride flag would look great normally but not so much at Christmas with the red and green. I wonder how many people in the parish would recognize it. Three of us for sure but beyond us? Sequins? shudder. Red hats might work?
