Lovely pictures. Looks interesting. That big old fashioned looking house up behind the winery, is it new or old? It looks like it's brick.

Some people are upset with the stone facing he put on the clapboard house. The old house is from 1802, he said. I was told 1807. I'm curious to see the woodwork. It was all handcarved. Every room was different and the fireplaces were gorgeous. He said he refinished every bit of it. I also heard that he replaced the tin ceilings. I'll go visit one of these days. It's only a 5 minute or so walk up the road.

We'll try the wine for the first time tonight.
