Friday cat blogging on Tuesday - updated

I can't have a cat in the house because I am deathly allergic to them. But PuddyTat has been so needy that I allowed her in the house today. She doesn't know how to use a litterbox but I gave her one by the front door and hope she uses it. Also filled her water dish with snow. She has had a nasal infection lately and suddenly become very clingy. She has never been this way before. I think she is on her way over the rainbow bridge. Makes me sad but I know it happens to all of us eventually. I'll make her as comfortable as possible until she goes.

I had her put down yesterday (Wednesday). She clung to me all day. It was difficult. She must have had some pain because she wanted to bury her head. I miss her. I'm sure she's having a great time reuniting with MamaCat and all the rest of the clan plus others who have been told to look for her. sniff.

Thank you for taking care of PT. You are good to do so. I don't get to visit here very often, but am happy to see how well you are caring for the kitties.

I said it on FACEBOOK, but I still like blogging better. I am sorry you had to say good-bye to PuttyTat. I know it leaves an ache in your heart. All our pets are gone too soon.

My sympathy on the loss of PT. Each one of these cats is so very special in its own way. Again, thank you for caring so much!

Hello dear Shelley
I just looked at your blog this morning for the first time in months, and saw your messages about PuddyTat. I am so sorry that she was so sick, Shel, and that you had to have her euthanized. But it was the right decision, I know, because you are observant and loving. I imagine that you still see her shadow from time to time. Thank you for being such a good caretaker of PT and all your cats. love, Kirim
