Looking in the other direction. No, those are not ducks. They are decoys. They are there for many weeks.
The hunters sit on the bench barely visible at the bottom of the path in this photo.
The storm felled a tree over the "tracks".
This is ignored. The ATV and snowmobile people will remove the tree and the many fallen branches as soon as we have a significant snow. Maybe before if the snow is late.

Being a native to NW PA, I am drawn to dreariness. These days have a certain beauty, which you have captured.
Photographs are better on dreary days. Colors don't get washed out. Today is sunny and cold but the temp is up to 34 from 20 earlier.
