These tiny spring flowers grow in large patches in my neighbor's yard. Each flower is no more than 1/4 inch across.
The oaks don't believe spring is here yet.
This couple is part of a large flock that keeps the landscape clean of carcasses. They've eaten well on raccoon here on occasion. They look HUGE in the yard compared to the crows which aren't exactly small.

We have an eccentric neighbor--fortunately not on our street--who believes that vultures are an endangered species. She keeps her garage door raised just high enough for them to get inside, where she leaves dishes of dogfood for their dining pleasure. Needless to say, she is not popular with her neighbors.
