This is a common sight this time of year in our neighborhood. Tho most houses have larger ladders, this is all I need. Anyone know why it is there? I will admit my method is a little unusual hence the small ladder.

But I obviously can't reach the dish with a broom. Any idea how I clean it off? Janis - not fair answering this time.
Also good for whacking icicles, I would think.
I thought icicles for a sec then noticed the dish. Give the pole holding it up a thump or two to rattle the snow out? I'm lucking I can reach my dish with a broom while standing on my deck!
Ha ha ha--you stand on the ladder with a super-shooter filled with de-icer and you shoot the dish clean!
