
Starving people, preventing them from going to work, keeping medical supplies away and otherwise maintaining an atmosphere of fear and hopelessness is a great way to make peace.
Perhaps killing most of the Palestinians will stop the violence?
Ugh.
By the way, I have no sympathy for Hamas. But I have little for Israel either.

I think most people are so used to the violence there that it's become background noise. The cycle never ends; they're just going to blow each other up into there are no more.

I have been there twice and have Jewish Zionist relatives and Palestinian friends. It is complicated, but when over 500 Palestinians are dead to 4 Israelis... Well it is just ugly all the way around.
